Asin is currently busy with her Bollywood projects. The actress was approached by the director Gnanarajasekaran, who directed the films including ‘Bharathy’, ‘Periyar’ and ‘Mogamul’. Asin has not yet given her nod for the film. the sources says that Asin has requested the director to wait for a year and she promised to give her dates after her commitments with her current projects are completed. But weeks later after this the director has announced recently his next project titled ‘Mudhal Kadhal’ with debutants. It is not known whether the director has considered Asin’s request.

The stylish Asin has posted a column on her website under the title ‘Missing Maid’. Asin’s staff member Beula is working with her since January 2006. When Asin moved to Mumbai she took Beula along with her. The actress mentioned that Beula’s mother misused her hard earned money and hence Beula decided to save the money for herself. So her mother filed a case due to this. Asin assured that she would ensure proper protection to her maid as she is her staff member. She also stated that she would continue to write on her website.
